Loading of a new petroleum barge in Antwerp

Europe Cargo was the appointed agent for the HHL Venice, dealing with the whole preparation and follow up of the loading as follows:

1 x new petroleum barge “ VISTA” / Dims. : 71,650 x 12,314 x 6,900 m. / 419,097 mt unit weight / Destination : BANA ROADS BUOY 16

Direct transshipment by 2 x ship’s gear ex water onto deck mv HHL VENICE. This operation needed to be performed very carefully as the barge needed to be turned to fit between the ship cranes.

Supported on deck by 12 x heavy Lift Platforms, welded to the deck and tightened by 24 x T-stopper plates to the outsides

Lashed and secured by 4 x lashings forward and 4 x lashing in the aft

Welded by 6 x huge supporting stanchions, 3 x double welding seams
