Iernut Project Destination: Constanta Port Romania M/V ROCHEFORT

Under our full survey and agency, into mv ROCHEFORT from Antwerp port, Belgium to Constanta port, Romania:

1 x generator 124 mt uw

1 x exhaust system unit 3,6 mt uw

1 x exhaust system unit 3,4 mt uw

IERNUT PROJECT CARGO

First Exhaust System 875157-A042A-104507000-10-0001-002 was hoisted and set on the fore of the single hold of Mv “ROCHEFORT”.

Crane was geared up with four grommets separated with two spreader bars of 330 cm; this seemed however to be too short as two grommets got stuck behind protruding parts.

Spreader bars were lengthened to 360 cm, which was enough to lift without problems (photos 12, 13, 16, 17 + 24, 25 and 26).

Generator was hoisted and gently stowed in the fore Lowerhold.

Next came the second Exhaust System (10-0001-001) being stowed on a Tweendeck platform just above the other one.

Both Exhaust Systems were secured with polyester belts fastened from lifting lugs.

Rubber protection was placed where necessary.

Generator is only secured with stoppers:

At either long side five, of which two with uplifting clips and at either short side two.

This are fourteen stoppers (of which four with uplifting clips).
